A New Year is Here.

The firework scene around here is OOC (out of control).  The city basically sounds like a machine gun for a good 2 1/2 hours.  There are apparently not too many regulations on when and where and who can shoot them.  The Schlossberg mountain must be downright deafening and dangerous on Silvester (NYE).

Both bridges looked like this...packed with people. Our view of the Schlossberg show was sorta subpar. Live and learn for next year.  (Also, don't go with fresh clean hair that comes back a smoke nest from hell.)

Every time we go out, we are pretty much bundled to the brim.

But, it's worth it to enjoy scenes like this.

What else has been going on?  Not a whole lot since I returned.  Getting back into the groove of Graz living.  Trying to overcome the blues that come with this foggy, hazy, cold and gray winter weather.  A little bit of comfort food cooking, movie watching and new year house cleanin'.

It's installed and set up (thanks to my tech savvy man..seriously, his knowledge of this stuff is a wondey plus in life) and I'm playing with it, but, yikes, it's confusing!  I'm down for the challenge, though.
