Spring!

The forsythia tree outside of our window literally busted out overnight.

I promise I did not saturate this pic.

What a nice way to liven up the inside too.

We had some friends over for dinner on Saturday and I like people to think my house always has fresh flowers sprinkled throughout.  ha.

We headed out on Sunday to our new favorite neighborhood with a great view:
see the Schlossberg and clocktower straight in view

happy spring peeps

there's also a great area for the pups to roam

and then just rub her just-yesterday-bathed-self in some manure plumps.  awesome.

Cute restaurant/gasthaus complete with loud chickens, goats, cows and sheep in the area.

more manure rolling.

Everyone's happy it's spring.

I adore forsythia!! Maybe because we don't see them much here, but you are so lucky to have that bomb of yellow and you don't even feed or water it. How clever to make that lettering with your picture of tulips/forsythia in the outline. How'd you do that? Maybe you can do something like that on my next Christmas card...

Yay for a new post!! Glad you are finally getting to enjoy some spring weather. Ours is sort of here, but it will be turning into mizzy weather before we know it.

It looks gorgeous there~My roommate from Tokyo, when I modeled there years ago, was from Austria. Her name was Karina Poshner. I tried and tried to find her but we lost contact. Such a shame~~She was a sweet girl. Enjoy your time there! :)

This looks all so beautiful! I miss these walks out of town, into a near country side with a nice Gasthof at the end waiting with a coffee and cake!!!

I just can't find that here...
Your spring is so ahead of ours. Just today I took a few pics of the garden, all somewhat late!
xoxo

Yay! The blog is back this soo cheered me up as I try & translate 30+ pages of exam regulations in less than a week! I can't believe there was a bomb though - you'd think they'd have remembered one had fallen there that hadn't gone off, no? Besides, who'd want to bomb Graz? It's not exactly an industrial centre?
